Portland Wrestling Officials Association was formed in 1992. Our referees officiate at all kinds of K-12 wrestling matches, from youth (elementary school age) to varsity high school. At the end of the season, you’ll see our referees at District and even the State Championships.
In 2023, Girls Wrestling will become an official varsity sport in Oregon. There’s been an upsurge in wrestling and we need more officials.
